Camp Southwoods Special Events

Camp Southwoods Carnival
One the most fun days of the year! A traditional carnival with Food trucks, Dunk Tanks, Carnival Booths, Characters, Bouncy Castles and so much more!

Friday Family Campfires
All camp Friday night themed campfire. S’mores of course!, Groups present a song and a skit relating to their theme. Musicians sing and play music as we all enjoy our love affair with camp!

Camp Southwoods Olympics
A traditional All- Camp Competition that is opened with a surprise break, and an official opening ceremony. Camp is broken into Green and White and compete in different events throughout camp including Mega Relay, Tug of War, Track Meet, Swim Meet, Rope Burn to name just a few!

Intra- mural competitions with spirited coaches that allow the competitive juices to get flowing. We keep standings and stats for all with a championship ice cream party to the winners!

Outside entertainment
We bring in outside groups for a fun and different special event. These include Musicians, Entertainers, Circus Acts and everything in between!
