We are prepared. Medical professionals are always onsite.

Our Health Center team are experienced medical professionals who live onsite at camp. These medical doctors and registered nurses are equipped to diagnose and treat medical issues as necessary, with the goal of getting campers back to health as soon as possible so they can enjoy their camp experience.

Camp Southwoods is located in close proximity to area hospitals and EMS, and has access to local specialists.

Our number one priority is the health and safety of your children. We train our staff to watch for any signs of illness or injury.

We encourage healthy habits like drinking lots of water to stay hydrated, eating nutritious foods, wearing sunscreen, and getting enough sleep and rest.
